The Belfort operates this website and its ticketing at 50 Piccadilly St, London, Ontario.
This page describes exactly what information we collect when you use it, what we do with it,
and who handles it for us. It reflects how the site actually works — nothing more, nothing less.
What we collect
- When you buy a ticket: your email address, name, and phone number,
along with your order (event, tickets, amount paid). Your payment card details go directly to
our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
- When you claim a free guest-list ticket: your email address and,
if you provide it, your name.
- At the door: whether your ticket’s QR code was scanned for entry.
- When you browse: anonymous page-visit counts using a random visitor
identifier stored in your browser. This is our own counting — we do not use advertising pixels,
third-party analytics, or cross-site trackers of any kind. If you arrive through a promoter’s
link, we record that link’s code with your order so the promoter is credited.
- If you email us about tables or jobs, we receive what you send.
What we use it for
Delivering your tickets by email, admitting you at the door, keeping required business and tax
records, handling refunds when an event is cancelled, and understanding how many people visit our
pages. That’s it. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing email
unless you have separately agreed to receive it.
Who handles your data for us
These service providers process data on our behalf to run the site:
- Stripe (payments) — receives your card details, name, email, and phone when you check out.
- Supabase (database hosting) — stores orders, tickets, and visit counts,
and serves event artwork to your browser, which shares your IP address with it.
- Resend (email delivery) — sends your ticket email with its QR code.
- Netlify (website hosting) — serves the site; like any host, it sees standard connection data such as your IP address.
- Fontshare (fonts) and Google Maps (the map on our Info page) — your browser
connects to them to load fonts and the map, which shares your IP address with them. Emails you send to our
Gmail addresses are handled by Google, and our own operational emails about orders (for example, a delivery
problem with your ticket) may be received in a Gmail inbox.
How long we keep it
Order and ticket records are kept as business records for as long as tax and accounting rules
require. Anonymous visit counts are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it
where the law allows. Email belfortbottleservice@gmail.com

Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If something goes wrong
If a data breach ever creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected people and
report it to the Privacy Commissioner as Canadian law requires.
Changes
If we change how the site handles your information, we will update this page and its date above.
